The Boyfriend Chef & I love Restaurant Nicholas. The food is always fantastic and the service usually impeccable. We like to sit at the bar because it’s more casual, which is more our style. This time out we dined on:
- Delicata Squash Terrine, Duck Proscuitto, Persimmon Chutney
- Pan Seared Sweetbreads, Pickled Crosnes, Sweet Potato Puree, Maple Candied Pecans
- Seared Day Boat Scallops, Pickled Red Cabbage, Hollandaise Espuma
- Sweet Potato Cappelletti, Brussel Sprout Leaves, Roasted Chestnut Foam
- Hand Rolled Cavatelli, Broccoli Florets, Cave Aged Cheddar Butter Sauce
- Sweet Fried Citrus Polenta Cake, Caramel Pineapple, Rum Ice Cream, Caramel Syrup
- Gingerbread Soufflé, Eggnog Ice Cream, Chocolate Crumble
All of it was delicious, but the Sweet Potato Cappelletti was just divine. I can’t stop thinking about it. I might have to stop by for some after work but shhhhh….don’t tell the BF Chef!
